Summer 2015: Rising junior separated himself as one of the top players for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team ranking among the team leaders in multiple offensive categories. The Chicago native hit .355 overall to rank second on the team while hitting safely in 15 of his 16 starts. Ray led the USA Collegiate National Team with seven doubles, 10 stolen bases (in 11 attempts), 12 runs scored, seven walks and a .548 slugging percentage while playing error-free baseball in 14 starts in the outfield. Also added a home run and five RBI for Team USA.
2015: Earned All-America honors after hitting .325 with 11 home runs, 56 RBI, 15 doubles, five triples and 34 stolen bases. Started all 65 games in the outfield. Finished 3-of-5 with a double and three RBI in win over Cal State Fullerton in game two of NCAA Super Regional. Was 3-for-5 with three RBI in NCAA Regional clinching win over Michigan on May 31.
