
Amanda Green Joins Cardinal Volleyball Roster

Six-one outside hitter is transferring from Marquette
Amanda Green, a 6-1 outside hitter from Skokie, Illinois will join the University of Louisville volleyball roster according to Cardinal head coach Dani Busboom Kelly.

Green is transferring to Louisville from Marquette where her freshman season's highlights included notching nine kills in the match against Cincinnati and nine kills in the match against Milwaukee. She had six kills and three digs in the match versus Providence.

"We are thrilled to add Amanda Green to the Cardinal Family," said Busboom Kelly. "Amanda is a physical athlete who adds power and depth to our roster. Not only is she a great athlete, she is a great person off the court. I couldn't be more thankful that she chose to finish her career at Louisville."

In high school at Niles North in suburban Chicago, where she was ranked No. 55 Senior Ace by PrepVolleyball. She was a two-time all-conference performer for the Vikings and helped lead them to a 2012 regional title and was named the team's offensive player of the year as a senior. She competed on the club level with Sports Performance was voted the team's most improved player in 2013 and its offensive player of the year as a senior. The four-time letterwinner was also a former gymnast and figure skater.

In the summer of 2016, she was a member of the US Collegiate National Team.
