Cardinals Announce Addition of Two Mid-Year Newcomers

Transfer Geoffrey Dee, early enrollee Grant Hollkamp joined the Cardinals in January

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's soccer head coach Ken Lolla announced on Monday the addition of transfer Geoffrey Dee and early prep enrollee Grant Hollkamp to the Cardinals for the spring semester.
 Geoffrey Dee A midfielder from Germantown, Tenn., Dee transferred to Louisville from Tulsa University and will have two seasons of remaining eligibility starting with the 2016 campaign. Hollkamp, a forward from Borden, Ind., joined the Cardinals as an early high school graduate from Borden High School.
Dee played two seasons for Tulsa, where he started all 41 matches and scored seven goals and added seven assists for the Golden Hurricane. As a sophomore in 2015, Dee earned All-American Athletic Conference Second Team honors scoring six goals, including a game-winner against Sacramento State, while leading the club with six assists. Dee was also an NSCAA All-East Region third team honoree in 2015. As a freshman in 2014, he earned American Conference All-Rookie Team recognition while starting all 20 matches. Prior to attending Tulsa, Dee played club soccer for the Shattuck St. Mary's Soccer Academy and was a four-star recruit by Top Drawer Soccer. Â Grant Hollkamp Hollkamp, who will have four years of collegiate eligibility starting this fall, joined the Cardinals after most recently playing club soccer for Indiana Fire Academy's U-17/18 team. Hollkamp gained extensive experience with Indiana Fire Academy, where he first started competing in 2013 with the U-15/16 team. Hollkamp also played with the Chicago Fire in multiple Generation Adidas events in Denver, Phoenix and Dallas and was invited to a U18 National Team Camp in 2013.
The Cardinals are currently in the midst of off-season training and are expected to announce their 2016 spring exhibition schedule soon.
