LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It's one of the many days the University of Louisville women's basketball program has a chance to bask in the media spotlight.
The Cardinals held their annual media day on Tuesday, beginning with ninth-year head coach Jeff Walz meeting with local, regional, and national media at a press conference.
Following Walz's remarks, discussing the return of All-Americans Myisha Hines-Allen and Mariya Moore, the program's No. 1 recruiting class, the make-up of this year's team, and the Cardinals' challenging schedule, the media had the opportunity to speak with each of the student-athletes.
Louisville opens the year on Nov. 15 at the KFC Yum! Center against 2013 Final Four foe California. Season ticket information is available on GoCards.com.
