What is the age limit for my child to get in free?
Children two and under are admitted free of charge, provided they sit on your lap. Children three years of age and over require a ticket to all U of L sports events.
What are accessibility options for guests with disabilities?
In accordance with federal ADA requirements, easy access and wheelchair seating options are available on both a season and single game basis. To exchange, you must have your original tickets in hand. Exchanges can be done at the Ticket Office in the Student Activities Center (third floor) and Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium (Gate 2) during normal business hours or at the event once gates open.
What time do doors/gates open?
Gates at football and doors at men’s basketball open 90 minutes prior to the start of the contest. Other sports, including women’s basketball, open one hour before the start of the event.
I can't find my tickets, what do I do?
Customers who have purchased tickets through the ticket office may call (502) 852-5151 to request a reprint of their tickets. Only the primary account holder may request their tickets to be reprinted.
What kinds of payment do you accept?
The ticket office accepts cash, check (only accepted from season ticket holders for single game tickets), Visa and MasterCard.
May I return tickets purchased from the Louisville Athletic Ticket Office?
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. The University of Louisville reserves the right to change game times, dates or locations with no refunds.
What are the operating hours for the U of L Ticket Office?
We are open from Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. On game day for football, the ticket office location at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium opens at 9 a.m.
Is there a way season tickets holders can change their My Cardinal Account password online?
Please log into your My Cardinal Account. Sign in with your current password. Go to view/edit settings. Click on Change my Password.
I do not know My Cardinal Account password or I am locked out of my account.

How do I change the contact information on my account?
Address changes may only be done with a written request to the ticket office by the primary account holder. An address change must contain the following:

Changes may be sent to ticketoffice@louisville.edu, mailed to University of Louisville, Athletic Ticket Office, Louisville KY 40292, faxed to (502) 852-0968, or hand delivered to the ticket office. Address changes will not be accepted over the phone.
Can I add a name or change the name on my ticket account?
Only spouses may be added on to an existing account at the request of the primary account holder. Any other name changes are done only in the event of a Priority Transfer.

Entitlement to tickets and priority points on an account, as well as the privilege to renew season tickets, belongs ONLY to the person and spouse named on the account. The University of Louisville Athletic Department reserves the right to revoke privileges, including season ticket renewal if anyone other than the ticket holder of record is determined to be renewing the season ticket account.
Who can I transfer my tickets to?
Season ticket holders have the option to do a one-time transfer to a family member.
Is there a fee to transfer my tickets?
Yes, there is a one-time transfer fee, which is based on one-half of the total annual donation. If the tickets are non-donation seats, the fee is $50 per seat.
Do priority points transfer?
No, priority points are non-transferrable. This applies to all accounts, including basketball, football, lifetime and annual accounts.
Can I change my ticket account to a corporate name?
Yes, there is a one-time change from personal ticket account to corporate name, or vice-versa.
Can I change my ticket account into an LLC?
In the case that a ticket holder establishes an LLC, there may be a one-time name change allowed from a personal account to an LLC. A copy of the state’s approved articles of organization must be submitted with the name change request.
Can I transfer my Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium lifetime seats?
Lifetime seats may be transferred from the ticket holder of record to another person for the lifetime of the stadium. However, companion seats MAY NOT be transferred; nor can the lifetime owner transfer lifetime seats and only retain the companion seats.
What paperwork needs to be submitted for a ticket transfer?
Forms must be completed, signed, and returned to the Athletic Ticket Office; one completed by the current season ticket holder and the other completed by the new season ticket holder. Football transfer paperwork must be received by June 1. Basketball paperwork must be received by Aug. 1.
Do I need to submit my transfer fee with the request for a ticket transfer?
No, once your paperwork has been received and is ready to be completed, someone will contact you for payment.
When will I know if my transfer is completed?
A representative will contact you for the transfer fee payment and let you know the transfer is complete.

For purchases made through the ticket office or Ticketmaster, tickets will be made available at will-call the day of the event. You may only pick up tickets in your name. A valid photo ID is required to pick up all will-call tickets.

How do I pay for my season tickets?
Football season ticket holders are sent renewal invoices annually for ticket payment. Tickets can be renewed online using My Cardinal Account, mailing your payment to our Chicago lockbox (U of L Athletics, 9286 Reliable Parkway, Chicago IL 60686-0092), or calling the ticket office at (502) 852-5151.
When will you know kickoff times?
Known kickoff times are listed in advance of the season. Other game times will be announced after the television network has determined game time (12-day window). Please visit www.uoflsports.com to see all game time updates.

If we receive tickets for any away games, the tickets will be made available to purchase shortly after basketball invoices are made available.
How do I purchase BIG EAST Tournament tickets?
Season ticket holders will be notified about how to obtain BIG EAST Tournament tickets each year.
How do I purchase NCAA Tournament tickets?
The University receives a limited allotment of NCAA Tournament tickets only to the site for which the team is participating. Ordering information will sent to season ticket holders. NCAA Tournament tickets are allocated in priority point order.

How many tickets can students purchase?
Students are able to purchase up to four individual football game tickets per home game per account for $15 apiece. Students are able to purchase up to two individual men’s basketball game tickets per home game per account for $15 apiece. Tickets can be purchased at either of the ticket office locations (Gate 2 of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium; or the third floor of the Student Activities Center).
Which events can students attend for free?
Students can receive a free ticket to volleyball, women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s soccer by showing their Cardinal Card student ID at the door. All other events, except football and men’s basketball, are free for the general public and students. Free admission only applies to regular season events.
How do I receive my student season tickets?
Season tickets are only available for football and men’s basketball, and those are coordinated by the athletic ticket office. Students will receive an e-mail from the ticket office informing them of pickup dates and times. Students may only pick up their tickets; any exceptions must be approved by the Athletic Ticket Office Business Manager.
What are accessibility options for students with disabilities?
Students who are in need of wheelchair or handicapped seating need to contact the ticket office at (502) 852-5151 or ticketoffice@louisville.edu.
How do I enter the student sections at events?
For football, graduate student season ticket holders and students with individual game tickets can enter any gate and present the ticket to be admitted. Undergraduate season ticket holders must enter through Gate 2B and present their ticket and student ID.
For basketball, students should enter through the left-most doors from Main Street, closest to the Cardinal Authentic store.
How do I get student single game tickets?
Student single-game tickets can be purchased at either of the ticket office locations (Gate 2 of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium; or the third floor of the Student Activities Center).
Where do I get my Student ID/Cardinal Card?
To purchase a student ID, students can go to the Cardinal Card office, located in the basement of the Houchens Building on the Belknap Campus.
