LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville will play host to the 2012 Pre-National Invitational on Oct. 13, with the race being held at E.P. `Tom' Sawyer State Park in Louisville.

The event serves as a pre-cursor for the national championships, as Louisville and the city of Louisville will be first time hosts of the NCAA Division I Championships this fall.

For the first time since World War II, the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships will be held on a Saturday, taking place at E.P. `Tom' Sawyer State Park on Nov. 17.
