The University of Louisville volleyball team faces BIG EAST opponent Syracuse Friday at 7 p.m. in Cardinal Arena on Halloween Eve. As part of the holiday festivities, the team will host a costume contest during a parade at halftime of the match.

U of L has never lost to Syracuse in 11 previous meetings. The Cardinals are 12-9 and 5-3 in conference. The Orange post a 7-2 record in the league and 18-7 overall.

The Cardinals are coming off a loss to rival Cincinnati last Friday. Lola Arslanbekova leads the Cardinasl with 317 kills. Lecia Brown is hitting .500 and has 108 blocks thus far.

Syracuse head coach Jing Pu collected his 300th Syracuse victory as the Orange defeated Georgetownon Sunday afternoon at Manley Field House. The win kept SU a perfect 9-0 at home on the season while extending its current win streak to seven matches.
