Juhl Posts to Volleyball's Today at Two-A-Day Blog

Today was our last official day of preseason. I can't believe it's already over and our season is finally here! We've been anticipating the start of this season all summer. We had a good first session this morning followed by some treatment and recovery activities with our strength team at our practice facility. Then we grabbed lunch together for the 15th time at The Ville Grill. I can safely say that I have memorized the daily menu and know every workers name! We met back up at The Yum for our final session this afternoon, which was a great way to wrap up, what I believe to be a phenomenal preseason. We ran through our pre-game routines and warm ups so we are prepared when we step out on the court, followed by our rotational scrimmages, which were very intense and competitive. Coach Kordes and the coaching staff were very pleased. We have so much depth now that we have a roster of sixteen players, it's going to be exciting to see how versatile we can be. We have definitely set the bar really high for ourselves. We are expecting great things to come from this season. It's going to be so much fun especially with so many games down at the KFC Yum! Center. We hope that everyone will come out and support us in our upcoming matches. Our Alumni Match is tomorrow night at Cardinal Arena at 6:00pm. It's going to be a great kick off to the next four months we have ahead of us. We had lots of fans last year but this year were hoping to have tons more. That's how excited we are!
