On the day before preseason officially starts, we started off with a short autograph session and a very filling Italian dinner while we watched the USA women's beach volleyball defeat Brazil. Christmas started early when we got all of our Adidas gear!! It was a huge sign of how much Louisville cares about the program. We had meetings for tomorrow which marks the first day of practices. As a team, we sat anxiously in our big comfy chairs more than ready to get started. First we talked about academics and compliance information that needs to be done . After we signed each and every paper we got our minds right before Coach Anne Kordes and the other coaches came in for another meeting. As soon as she began to talk I got more and more excited to just start playing volleyball already. We talked about goals and expectations for the year. Each team member stood up and said what they thought it meant to be competitive and why they thought they were competitive. I could tell everyone has the heart and desire to be a national champion in our home Yum Center this year in December.
