2011: Brooke earned a starting role with the Cardinals and started and played in every set in every match. She was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Crowne Plaza Cardinal Classic. Fifth on team with a .259 hitting percentage, she was third on the team with 240 kills (2.03/set). She was second on the team with
87 blocks (0.74/set). Season highlights included her performance at Georgia Tech, where she notched 12 kills, while hitting .455. Against Eastern Illinois, she set a career-high with six blocks and also had fi ve kills on eight swings. As BIG EAST play unfolded, against West Virginia she finished with 10 kills added six blocks and had another 10 kills against Pittsburgh. Against Syracuse, she notched 14 kills while hitting .393 before she had Set a new career-high with 15 kills while hitting .571 against Pittsburgh. Against Ball State, she contributed with four kills and two blocks and eight kills against Purdue in the NCAAs.
2010: Brooke played in three sets at Wright State, finishing with a kill, a service ace, and three digs. She recorded a kill and a block assist against #5 Illinois. She set a career-high with two aces against Rutgers. Earning the start at middle against Seton Hall, she recorded one kill and two block assists. She appeared against Connecticut and had one kill and one total block and also appeared against St. John's. She recorded four kills against Georgetown. With one kill against USF, she also notched three kills in three attempts to go along with two blocks at Syracuse.
2009: Brooke had a medical redshirt in 2009.
High School: Brooke Mattingly played for St. Henry High School for Lori Schwieterman and for Grand Lake Club where she was coached by Jeff Marbaugh. She helped lead St. Henry High School to the regional final as a senior in a Cinderella finish after starting the season 2-10. She earned first team All-Conference, First Team All-District 8 and was named to the District 8 All-Star match. She earned Second Team All-State kudos and played in the State All-Star match while earning All-Conference Academic honors. As a junior, Brooke was All-Conference Academic and honorable mention all-conference. Later that year, in club ball, she helped Grand Lake make it to the regionals.
