2011: Picking up where she left off from a year ago, Emily was named to the AVCA All-Northeast Region HM and All-BIG EAST First Team. She was tabbed to the All-BIG EAST Preseason Team. She was named to All-Tournament Team for Georgia Tech Courtyard Classic and the Baymont Bobcat Classic. She was tops on the team with 36 aces (0.32/set) and was second on the team with 285 kills (2.56/set). She was third on the team both in blocks with 77 (0.70/set) and hitting percentage (.275) and sixth on the team with 113 digs (1.03/set. Season highlights included her outing at Georgia Tech, where she had a career-high 17 kills and 10 digs. Against Ole Miss she recorded five aces and versus Marshall, she recorded 10 kills and three blocks. Versus Purdue, she had 11 kills and added eight kills and five blocks against Illinois. As the BIG EAST unfolded, against Notre Dame, she had 13 kills and six blocks. In the Marquette match, she had five aces and against Pittsburgh, she had 14 kills. Against OVC Champ Morehead State, she had 13 kills on 17 swings, hitting .706. In the NCAAs, she had 11 digs and 10 kills against Ball State.

2010: Emily was named BIG EAST Tournament MVP and was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team. Named to the Louisville Invitational All-Tournament Team. She led the team with 31 aces and second on the team with 308 kills (2.68/set) and is fourth with 171 digs. She set a new career-high with 16 kills during the match against CSU Bakersfield. Against Butler, she had 15 kills and a career-high 16 digs. Recorded 11 kills to go along with seven digs against Purdue to go along with 11 kills and four digs against #5 Illinois. As the BIG EAST slated unfolded, she tied her career-high with 16 digs against Notre Dame and recorded 12 digs and a .406 hitting percentage. She was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Oct. 11 and Nov. 8 She had five aces against USF and totaled 13 kills in 29 total attempts at #22 Tennessee. She had a career-high and tied the BIG EAST Conference season-high with seven aces at WVU, closing out the Mountaineers with five straight service aces. She posted eight kills to go along with seven digs during the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament. In the second round, she recorded 10 kills and eight digs while hitting .286 against Marquette. She scorched the Bearcats with three aces, 13 kills and three blocks during the BIG EAST Championship match.

High School: Emily Juhl, an outside hitter from Sacred Heart was named to the AAU National All-American team in 2005, 2006,2007, and 2009. She was named the Most Valuable Player at the AAU National Tournament in 2006 and the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association named her to the All-State First Team the past three seasons. She was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Junior Volleyball Directors Association National Showcase and National Finals in 2008. She was a member of the PrepVolleyball.com National High School All-American Team in 2008. She was also named one of the Top 40 Senior Aces in 2009. Emily is a member of the Kentucky State All-Tournament Team in 2008 and 2009 and is a four-time member of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association All-State Academic Team. She is the recipient of the 2009 Region 7 Player of the Year Award. She was a member of the MAVA club team that won the AAU National Tournament in 2006, and placed second in 2007 and third in 2009. This team also placed second at the inaugural JVDA National Finals in 2008. She was named a Fab 50 recruit and was the state MVP for Field Events, finishing second in the high jump.

Personal: She is the daughter of Suzanne and Greg Juhl. Born Feb. 13, 1992. Major is health and human performance.
