High School: Davionna Holmes comes to the Cardinals from East St. Louis High School where she played for Iletha Suggs. She earned First Team All-Southwestern Conference honors as a senior. Playing her club ball with H2 St. Louis for Coach DeShea McBride, she credits Geoffrey Davis for giving her the opportunity to play for H2. Holmes was also selected for USA Volleyball's Girl's Youth Continental team. An excellent basketball player as well, she averaged 14.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for East St. Louis where as a center, she was among her conference leaders in three-point shooting.

Personal: She is the daughter of Donnita Holmes. Born July 24, 1994. She plans on majoring in English.
