Cardinals Place Ninth At C-USA Women's Tennis Tournament

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's tennis team defeated UNC Charlotte 5-2 in the consolation round of the Conference USA Tournament on Saturday and beat Cincinnati 5-3 on Sunday to finish ninth in Conference USA.

In the match against UNCC, Kelly-Marie Miller, Kelly Ford, Kelly Whitler and Melisa San Martin picked up singles points for Louisville, while Miller and Ford teamed up to secure the match for the Cardinals with a doubles win.

Against Cincinnati, Ford, Katie McLaughlin, Whitler and San Martin won in singles, while Miller and Ford picked up a doubles win.

Louisville finishes the season with a 15-9 record.
