Women's Tennis Heads Back into AAC Action at Memphis

The No. 60-ranked University of Louisville women's tennis team travels south to take on Memphis Friday, March 21, at 1 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Cards are 3-2 on the road and 9-2 overall on the season. The Cardinals are led by the No. 10-ranked doubles team of Julia Fellerhoff and Rebecca Shine. They are coming off a 5-2 road win over San Diego State last Friday on the road. The last meeting between the schools came in March of 2002, with UofL winning 4-1.

The Tigers are 10-6 on the season. Last Saturday, Memphis won 5-2 over the Knights of UCF on the road. Liza Tymchenko and Marta Morga recorded an 8-2 victory at No. 1 over Josephine Haraldson and Courtney Griffith of UCF to clinch the doubles point early on and improved to 9-0 when taking a 1-0 lead.
