The University of Louisville women's tennis team will be taking on Rutgers on Friday, Feb. 21. The Cards will play the Scarlet Knights in an AAC matchup at noon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The original match time was 1 p.m.

The Cardinals (5-2) enter Friday's match ranked No. 63 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) team rankings. The University of Louisville women's tennis team took the doubles points and then outlasted host Wisconsin in the singles competition that featured four 3-set matches for a 5-2 win on Feb. 14th in Madison at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Louisville last met Rutgers on April 19, 2013 in the Big East Championships, where the Cards won 4-0.

The Rutgers tennis team (3-1) handed Army (6-1) its first loss of the season, 6-0, Sunday afternoon in West Point, N.Y. After securing the doubles point by winning two of the three matches, RU went on to capture five of the six singles games, with one ending in a no-decision. RU returns to action on Wednesday Feb. 19 as it takes on instate rival Princeton on the road before heading to Louisville Friday.

Following Friday's match, the Cardinals will return to the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center on Feb. 28 when they play host to Eastern Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. Admission is free.
