The University of Louisville women's tennis team blanked a short-handed Southern Illinois team 7-0 in a match played at Murray State.

The Cardinals won the doubles point. Julia Fellerhoff and Becca Shine beat Melanie Delsart and Jennifer Dien 8-3 at No. 1. The pair of Gabrielle Duncan and Amelia Harris were edged by Anastacia Simons and Korey Love 8-7 (3) at No. 2. SIU was unable to field a No. 3 doubles team due to injury, so Sarah Miller and Stefanie Villajuan won by default, giving the doubles point to the Cards.

The Cardinals then rolled easily through the singles in straight sets at every position. Fellerhoff beat Delsart 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1. At No. 2 Becca Shine won 6-1, 6-1 with Sonia Bokhari cruising to a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3. Sarah Miller won at No. 4 6-2, 6-4 and Gabrielle Duncan handled Korey Love 6-0, 6-2.
