Spring 2005: Stefania won her first two matches of the season, but was injured after her match against Kentucky. Member of the Red & Black A.D. Honor Roll in 2004-2005, and Coach Davis' Most Improved player of 2004-2005.
High School: Played under Coach Charlie Finnegan. Went to the semifinals in state championships. Went to the finals of the doubles competition of the state championships. Won the MVP award. Velazquez originally hales from Aruba and has extensive international playing experience. She has been ranked in the Top 300 in the world in juniors by the ITF (International Tennis Federation).
