Fall 2009: A signature win for Ashley came last fall when she beat Anastasia Dracheva the No. 115-ranked player from Miami (OH) and played in the Main Draw at the ITA regionals. 2008-2009: Ashley saw limited action, playing a singles match against Marquette in the regular season and winning against Rutgers in the BIG EAST playoff for third place.

Prior to U of L: Ashley Irvin comes to U of L from Brisbane, Australia by way of Tyler Junior College and will be eligible in January for the dual season. She played Flight 2 at the Junior College Nationals and earned All-American Team Finalist for singles. In the spring of last year, she won Regionals and was Southwest Region Singles Women's Champion. At nationals, she placed 4th in the Nation for Junior College Women. Last fall, she was named to the All-American Team and won 2008 Player of the year for her Region and for the nation.
