At U of L: Coleen was U of L's speedster, stealing 28 of 30 bases. Set a school record for four runs in a game and three stolen bases in a game. She was named Second Team All-C-USA outfield and All-C-USA Tournament. She led the team in runs scored (35) while batting .289 as U of L's leadoff with a .329 on-base percentage. She had 57 hits in 197 at bats and started 60 of 62 games. She had five doubles and 11 sacrifice hits.
Junior College: A transfer from Glendale CC in Arizona, she was a 1999 Easton All-American and was named to the First Team All-NJCAA Region in both 1998 and 1999. She was named a 1999 Easton Player of the Month. Her batting average in 1999 was .421.
High School/Club: She lettered four years in right field for Brent Ackzen at Apollo. She batted .500 as a senior and made the Arizona All-Star team and was a two-time First Team All-Region and First Team All-State. She played for Justin Wise for the Firecrackers and Ken Rice for Destiny in club ball.
