2012 Louisville Women's Soccer Game Notes 
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With just three games remaining in the regular season, Louisville travels to the Garden State this weekend for its final two regular season road games of 2012 against Rutgers and Seton Hall.

Women's Soccer Rolls Past Seton Hall, 3-0
Playing her final regular season home game, senior Jennifer Jones had a goal and an assist to lead the Louisville women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Seton Hall on a windy Sunday afternoon at Cardinal Park.

The Cardinals will open the weekend on Friday at 5:30 p.m., ET against the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway, N.J., before closing the road trip on Sunday at 1 p.m., against the Pirates in South Orange, N.J. SERIES INFORMATION
Friday's match will be the eighth all-time between Louisville and Rutgers with the Scarlet Knights holding a 4-2-1 advantage in the series. In the last meeting between the two programs, the Cardinals earned a 2-1 win in Louisville in 2011. Sunday's match will be the eighth meeting ever between Louisville and Seton Hall with the Cardinals holding a 7-0-0 advantage. In their last matchup in 2011, the U of L won a 3-0 decision at Cardinal Park.
ABOUT THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS
Rutgers enters Friday's match at 9-6-1 overall and 2-5-1 in BIG EAST play after earning a 1-0 win at DePaul and a 2-2 tie at Notre Dame last weekend. Seton Hall enters the weekend at 6-10-0 overall and just 1-7-0 in league action after dropping a pair road games at Notre Dame (5-1) and DePaul (1-0) last weekend.
LAST TIME OUT FOR LOUISVILLE
Louisville overcame an early deficit to earn a 1-1 draw against 11th-ranked Georgetown on Sunday afternoon at Cardinal Park. "I thought we played really well today," said Cardinals' head coach Karen Ferguson Dayes. "Our possession was fantastic and we created some great chances. The only thing that didn't go our way today was the result. Georgetown is a very good team and they brought out the best in us."
CARDINALS FOURTH IN BIG EAST NATIONAL DIVISION STANDINGS
After earning four points in last week's action at home against Villanova (W, 1-0) and No. 11 Georgetown (T, 1-1), the Cardinals enter week five of the BIG EAST Conference race in fourth place in the National Division. Through eight of 11 BIG EAST games, Louisville is averaging 1.50 points per game. Notre Dame and Georgetown lead the division at 2.71 points per game, while Villanova is third at 1.71 points per game. The top four teams from each division as well as the next two at-large teams based on points-per-game average will qualify for the 2012 BIG EAST Conference Championship, which is scheduled to begin with first round action on Oct. 25.
LOUISVILLE IN THE NCAA STATISTICS
Following week eight of the regular season, U of L remains among the top 50 nationally in multiple categories in the NCAA statistical rankings. As a team, the Cards are ranked 40th nationally in scoring offense at 2.07 goals per game. Individually, Angelika Uremovich is ranked 34th in the nation in total goals with nine, 39th in goals per game with 0.643 and 48th in total points with 20. Charlyn Corral is ranked 44th in the NCAA in total assists with six. Erin Yenney is ranked 48th nationally in game-winning goals with three.
CARDINALS AT NO. 35 IN SECOND NCAA RPI RELEASE
The third set of 2012 NCAA women's soccer RPI rankings were released on Monday evening and the Cardinals were positioned at No. 35 overall. Louisville is one of five BIG EAST Conference teams in the top 46 spots and among eight league squads in the top 91 positions. Leading the way is Notre Dame at No. 23 followed by Georgetown (No. 28), Louisville (No. 35), Marquette (No. 36), Rutgers (No. 46), USF (No. 72), Connecticut (No. 75) and Syracuse (No. 91).

Following this weekend's road matches, the Cardinals return home for their 2012 regular season finale against rival Cincinnati on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m., ET at Cardinal Park.
