Uremovich Among Semifinalists for 2012 UofL Homecoming Queen
Junior midfielder leads the Cardinals and ranks third in BIG EAST with nine goals this season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Junior midfielder Angelika Uremovich of the Louisville women's soccer team is among 10 semifinalists in contention for the honor of being selected as 2012 University of Louisville Homecoming Queen.

Uremovich (Oakville, Ont./St. Ignatius of Loyola) leads the Cardinals and ranks third in the BIG EAST Conference with nine goals this season. A three-year starter for Louisville, Uremovich has 18 career goals as a Cardinal. In the classroom, the sport administration major was named to the Dean's List in two of her first three seasons at U of L.

Registered UofL students can place their votes for the 2012 Homecoming Queen here. Voting closes on Friday, Oct. 12, with the winner being announced during halftime of the Cardinals' football game against USF on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
