Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's soccer team will host Ole Miss this Friday, Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in a historic first match at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium. The match will be aired live on ESPN3.
Louisville enters the weekend with an overall record of 1-1-0 after traveling to Ohio and Illinois last weekend. The Cardinals began their season with a 2-1 win over Wright State on Friday evening before falling 2-0 at the University of Illinois on Sunday. Freshman Isabella Habuda came off the bench to score both of the Cardinals' goals on Friday, while sophomore goalkeeper Paige Brown started both games in goal and recorded three saves on the weekend.
Ole Miss enters the game undefeated with record of 1-0-1 after playing Georgia to a 1-1 tie last weekend before defeating Iowa State 1-0. The Rebels were led by senior goalkeeper Kelly McCormick, who allowed one goal on the weekend and scored her first career goal against Iowa State on a penalty kick.
This will be the first meeting between the Cardinals and the Rebels.
Single Game, Season Tickets on Sale
Single game tickets for Louisville's highly anticipated debut season at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium and in the Atlantic Coast Conference are available for purchase through the UofL Ticket Office. Tickets for each of the Cardinals' first two matches on Friday, Aug. 29 against Ole Miss (6 p.m., ET) and on Friday, Sept. 5 against Kentucky (6 p.m.) can be purchased online here through My Cardinal Account. Ticket prices are $12 for reserved chairback seats (preferred seating) and $9 for general admission berm and bleacher seats. On both Aug. 29 and Sept. 5, the men's games will be preceded by women's games and tickets will provide admission to both matches each day.
Season tickets, which will provide admission to both women's and men's regular season matches, remain on sale through the UofL Ticket Office for $70 each.
