2011 BIG EAST Conference All-Rookie Team
2011: Named to BIG EAST Conference All-Rookie Team. Started all 24 games of her freshman season connecting for two goals and adding three assists. Scored first career goal and only goal of the match in Cardinals' win at Notre Dame on Sept. 16. Added another game-winning goal in Louisville's win at Seton Hall on Oct. 16. Added an assist in U of L's NCAA second round win at No. 5 Memphis on Nov. 18. Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
High School: Played four years of soccer at Troy High School where she was coached by Ryan Baker. Named NSCAA All-American as a senior. Three-time First Team All-Ohio selection. Earned All-Region honors as a junior and senior. Four-time North Player of the Year and four-time All-Dayton North First Team. Three-time All-GWOC Conference. Holds Troy High School record with 89 career goals. All-Dayton District Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Played club soccer for Ohio Elite Soccer Academy and was a member of the Ohio South State ODP Team in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Also lettered four years in basketball at Troy.
Personal: Born on Oct. 20, 1992 in Troy, Ohio. Daughter of Tom and Karla Yenney. Has two brothers, David and J.T. Majoring in engineering at U of L. Biggest thrill in sports was scoring the game-winning, overtime goal as a prep freshman in the second round of state tournament. Hobbies and outside interests include making cards, making friendship bracelets, singing, water skiing and performing card tricks. Favorite movie is Elf. Favorite TV shows include Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model and That `70's Show. Favorite athletes are Michael Jordan and Landon Donovan. Favorite food is chocolate chip cookies. Favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals. Enjoys listening to The Fray and John Mayer.
