Louisville's 2V8+ Repeats as American Boat of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - For the second consecutive week, the 16th-ranked Louisville women's rowing team's second varsity eight was selected as the American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week on Wednesday.

The crew of Andrea Zorn (coxswain), Elise Valantine, Lucy Wilshier, Lizzie DeVries, Cynthia Doyle, Kylen Pattermann, Amanda Zalno, Abbie Wade and Katie Nord earned a dominating win over No. 18 Clemson on the final day of the Pac-12 Challenge last Sunday in Redwood Shores, Calif. The Cardinals had a time of 6:59.8 to finish more than 13 seconds clear of the Tigers. The same Louisville 2V8+ crew was also narrowly beaten by host school and 13th-ranked Stanford on Saturday afternoon at the event.

Up next, the Cardinals will travel to Iowa City, Iowa for the Big Ten Challenge on April 12.
