Louisville Rowing NCAA Championship | Practice Day 1

2013-14: Chosen as a CRCA Scholar Athlete... Rowed in Louisville's primary varsity eight boat during its title-winning performance at the 2014 American Conference Championship... Closed the season rowing with the Cardinals' second eight varsity crew, which finished second in the C final at the 2014 NCAA Championship... Also competed in Louisville's second varsity eight boat for wins over top 20 teams UCLA (No. 13), Wisconsin (No. 15) and Cornell (No. 16) at the Clemson Invite as well as a win against No. 18 Clemson at the Pac-12 Challenge in California.

2012-13: Started collegiate rowing career as a member of the Cardinals' novice program ... Finished season on the varsity squad ... Member of second varsity four boat that earned first-place honors at Big East Championship in West Windsor, N.J., and earned wins over Oklahoma, Tennessee and Indiana at the Clemson Invitational.

Prior to UofL: Played basketball, volleyball, softball, track & field and cross country for four years at Western High School while earning the Outstanding Senior Award ... Also named to All A Honor Roll.

Personal: Born on May 26, 1994, in Louisville, Ky. ... Daughter of Angel Hines ... Majoring in speech pathology ... Post-college ambition is to be an occupational therapist ...
