Women's Lacrosse Dominates Rutgers

Nikki Boltja and Kaylin Morissette combined to score nine goals.

Junior Season (2010): Earned second team IWLCA all-West Region honors ... tabbed a first-team all-BIG EAST selection ... was a BIG EAST Weekly Honor selection four times ... was the nation's leading goal scorer (78) and ranked No. 1 in goals per game (4.59) ... second time in past three years leading the nation in goals per game ... started all 17 games ... finished the year ranked in the top-10 nationally in two more offensive categories: fourth in points per game (4.94) and 10th in points (84) ... ranked first on the team in each of the aforementioned categories ... also was first on the team in shots ... tallied more than five goals on seven different occasions, including a season-high seven goals four times (Sacred Heart, Vanderbilt, Jacksonville and Villanova) ... recorded at least two scores in all 17 contests ... had a season-high three caused turnovers against Connecticut ... posted six draw controls against Longwood.

Sophomore Season (2009): Earned second team all-BIG EAST honors ... also tabbed a second-team selection on the IWLCA all-West Region squad ... played in 16 games, starting 14 of them ... led the team with 61 goals, 67 points, 153 shots and 113 shots on goal ... was a three-time BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection... set a career high in goals with eight against UC Davis ... scored six goals on three different occasions (Loyola (Md.), Longwood and Virginia Tech) ... had 15 multi-goal games ... picked up 15 ground balls, had nine draw controls and 13 caused turnovers ... fifth in the nation in goals per game with 3.81 per contest ... other national rankings included 10th in goals and 21st in points per game.

Freshman Season (2008): Started in 14 games ... was the national leader in goals per game at 4.07 ... scored 61 goals in 15 games ... led the team in goals, points (66), shots (133), shots on goal (91) and game-winning goals (5) ... scored a season-high seven goals in the win over Connecticut ... had six goals against Manhattan and Loyola (Md.) ... scored five goals in three-straight games (Lafayette, Rutgers, Villanova) ... had at least two goals in all 15 games ... also added 11 ground balls and six caused turnovers.

High School: Lettered four years at Gwynedd Mercy Academy in lacrosse under coach Kate Tobias ... played club on Ultimate Goal ... Bicentennial League All-Star in 2005 and 2008 ... was a Catholic League All-Star from 2005-07 ... voted the team MVP in 2007 ... scored 100 goals in 2007 to end career with the most goals scored in the regular season (247) ... 2007 Galaxy honorable mention ... school's top goal scorer (100) in 2006 ... also tallied the most assists that season (39) ... tabbed the school's most improved player in 2005 ... team's second leading scorer in 2005 with 45 goals ... also lettered four years in basketball and one year in tennis.
