Louisville, Ky. - Former University of Louisville women's golf standout Sara-Maude Juneau earned her LPGA Tour card on Sunday, Sept.30. Juneau finished No. 10 on the season-ending money list in the 2012 Volvik Race for the Card. The top-10 players on the money list this season will receive fully exempt status for the 2013 LPGA Tour season.

"I'm playing golf for a living, how can it get better," Juneau said. "I'm a very simple girl from a small town in Canada that made it in the big league. I'm very happy."

The second-year Symetra Tour member had been consistent all season and fought her way into the rankings three separate times, the only player on Tour to do so. Juneau secured a spot in the race early on when she tied for second at the season-opening Florida's Natural Charity Classic and was ranked in the top-10 for the first seven weeks of year. She fell out of the rankings in Week 8 after she missed her first cut of the season at the Northeast Delta Dental International. But the Quebec, Canada native fought her way back in two weeks later at No. 10 when she T7 at the Credit Union Challenge in Week 10.

She dropped back out of the rankings again, this time for four weeks. Juneau reentered the Race at No. 10 after she finished third at the Vidalia Championship last week. She was ranked for a total of 10 weeks this year and finished inside the top-eight six times including a career-best tied for second at the Florida's Natural Charity Classic in Winter Haven, Fla.
