Four Cardinals Finish in the Top 15 at the Kentucky Women's Open

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Four players finished in the Top 15 in a field of 55 players in the Kentucky Open at the Champion Trace Golf Club on Wednesday. Lindsay Gahm won the event with a score of 141 and professional Sara Hurwitch finished second with a score of 145. Tara Lyons and Emily Haas finished as the second and third amateur in the event. Lyons shot a 72 in the first round and followed up with a 73 today for a score of 146. Haas shot a 72 in the first round and finished the day with a 75 for a score of 147. Candice Wiley finished tied for 10th with a score of 150. Wiley shot a 75 in both rounds. On Monday Wiley also qualified for the US Women's Amateur that will compete on Aug. 6-12 at The Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio. Katie Petrino finished tied at 13th with a score of 152. Petrino shot a 75 in the first round and followed with a 77 in the second round.
