Anderson and Juneau Qualify for the US Women's Amateur

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville juniors Laura Anderson and Sara-Maude Juneau qualified for the US Amateur this week. It will be the second US Amateur appearance for Anderson and the third US Amateur appearance for Juneau. Juneau won the Boston regional qualifier yesterday after carding a 70. She finished the day with six birdies and four bogeys. Anderson shot a 73 in the qualifier at the Walnut Grove Country Club in Dayton, Ohio. She also took medalist honors with her 73 at the qualifier. The US Women's Amateur will be held Aug. 3-9 at the Old Warson Country Club in St. Louis, Mo. Juneau will play in the Canadian Women's Amatuer on July 27-31 in Moncton, New Brunswick.
