Candice Wiley Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - Senior Candice Wiley was named BIG EAST golfer this week finishing tied for 12th in the Sir Pizza Terrapin Challenge last week. It was Wiley's first Top 20 finish of the season. The Cardinals finished sixth in the tournament while Wiley was the top finisher for the Cardinals. Wiley finished the tournament with a score of 223. She shot a season low 73 in the first round of the tournament and a 76 in the second and third rounds. The Cardinals will be back in action on March 12 in the Dr. Donnis Thomas Invitational.
