Women's Golf in 12th Place of Alamo Invitational After One Round

San Antonio, Texas - The Louisville women's golf team shot a 301 in the first round of the Alamo Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas. The Cardinals are in 12th place after the first round of play. Oklahoma leads the field with a score of 279. SMU is in second place with a score of 286 while Tulane is third with a score of 287.

Sophomore Emily Haas leads the Cardinals after shooting a 70 in the first round. Haas finished the day tied at seventh. SMU's Jennifer Park and Baylor's Hayley Davis lead the field after shooting a 67.

Junior Tara Lyons finished the day tied at 31st with a score of 74 in the first round. Freshman Laura Restrepo shot a 75 in the first rounds, finishing the day tied at 50th.

Freshman Meghan Theiss and Katie Petrino both shot an 81 in the first round. Both are currently tied at 67th after the first round.

The Cardinals will continue play tomorrow with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
