The 19th ranked Louisville women's golf team finished third in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showcase on Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals shot a 299 in the final day to finish with a score of 886. 17th ranked Arizona won the tournament with a score of 878 while 15th ranked Florida finished second with a score of 883.
Junior Sara-Maude Juneau finished second, just two strokes off the lead. Juneau shot a 73 in the third round for a score of 211. Juneau has finished in the Top Five of four of the five fall tournaments. Arizona's Sherlyn Popelka took medalist honors with a score of 209.
Junior Laura Anderson shot 72 in the final round to move up 16 spots. Anderson finished tied at 6th with a score of 220. Anderson has finished in the Top 10 in four of five tournament this fall, with two medalist honors.
Senior Daphne Parker shot a 78 in the final round. Parker finished tied for 28th with a score of 226. Freshman Anna-Karin Ljungstrom shot a 76 in the final round. Ljungstrom finished tied at 43rd with a score of 229.
Sophomore Maria Castellanos shot an 84 in the final round to finish 88th with a score of 245. Senior Danielle Kom shot a 95 in the final round to finish 92nd with a score of 267.
The tournament wraps up fall play for the Cardinals.
