The Louisville women's golf team finished the second round of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in 12th place. The Cardinals shot a 297 in the second round for a score of 601. North Carolina leads the field after shooting a 581 at the UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. Baylor is second with a score of 591 and Florida is third with a score of 593.
Junior Tara Lyons led the Cardinals shooting a 71 in the second round. Lyons is currently in third place with a score of 142. Hayley Davis of Baylor leads the field with a score of 140.
Freshman Laura Restrepo finished the day shooting a 74. She is currently tied at 36th with a score of 151. Sophomore Emily Hass finished the day carding a 76. Haas is currently tied at 46th with a score of 153.
Sophomore Katie Petrino finished the second round shooting a 76. Petrino is currently tied for 55th with a score of 155. Senior Candice Wily finished the day carding an 80. She is tied at 80th with a score of 159.
The Cardinals will continue play tomorrow with a 9:15 shotgun start.
