Durham, NC - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 301 in the first round of the Tar Heel Invitational. The Cardinals are currently in 17th place after the first round of play. Alabama leads the field with a score of 277 while LSU is second with a score of 285 and Duke and Florida are tied for third with a score of 288.

Senior Sara-Maude Juneau is tied for 8th after finishing the first round at two under par. Alabama's Brooke Pancake leads the field with a score of 65.

Sophomore Anna Karin Ljungstrom is tied at 54th after shooting a 75 in the first round. Senior Laura Anderson is tied at 67th after carding a 76.

Junior Maria Castellanos and sophomore Candice Wiley are tied at 86th after shooting an 80 in the first round.

The Cardinals will continue play tomorrow with 9:00 a.m. tee time.
