The Louisville women's golf team currently stands in fifth place after two rounds of the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo. The Cardinals shot a 301 in the first and second rounds for a score of 602. SMU leads the field shooting a 581 in the first two rounds. Kansas State is second with a score of 587 and host Missouri is in third place with a score of 594.
Freshman Laura Restrepo leads the Cardinals after two rounds with a score of 150. Restrepo shot a 72 in the first round and a 78 in the second round and is currently tied for 17th. Whitney Pyle of Kansas State leads the field with a score of 137.
Senior Candice Wiley finished the day with a score of 151. Wiley shot a 78 in the first round and then a 73 in the second round to finish the day tied at 23rd. Sophomore Emily Haas finished the day with a score of 152. Haas shot a 78 in the first round and a 73 in the second round to finish the day tied at 30th.
Sophomore Katie Petrino is currently tied at 34th with a score of 153. Petrino shot a 75 in the first round and an 80 in the second round. Junior Tara Lyons shot a 79 in t first round and a 76 in the second round. She finished the day tied at 47th with a score of 155.
The Cardinals will wrap up play tomorrow with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
