Women's Golf Third After Two Rounds in the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic

Ft. Collins, Colo. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in third place after two rounds at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in Ft. Collins, Colo. The Cardinals shot a 284 in the first round and a 286 in the second round for a two round total of 570. California leads the field with a score of 557 and Colorado is second with a score of 562.

Senior Cindy LaCrosse is currently tied for third. LaCrosse carded a 70 in the first round and then a 69 in the second round. She finished the day with a score of 139, just one stroke off the lead. Colorado's Emily Childs and California's Shannon Yocum are tied at first with a score of 138.

Sophomore Sara-Maude Juneau is currently in 10th place. Juneau shot a 71 in the first round and then a 70 in the second round. She finished the day with a score of 141, just three strokes off the lead. Making her Cardinal debut, junior Daphne Parker is currently in 17th place. Parker shot a 70 in the first round and a 74 in the second round. She finished the day with a score of 145.

Freshman Maria Castellanos is currently tied at 21st. Castellanos shot a 73 in the first and second rounds. She finished the day with a score of 146. Sophomore Laura Anderson is currently tied at 78th. Anderson carded a 78 in the first round and a 79 in the second round. She finished the day with a score of 157.

The Cardinals will wrap up the final round with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
