Women's Golf Currently 14th After the Second Day of NCAA Regional

Columbus, Ohio - The University of Louisville women's golf team is currently in 14th place after the second round of the NCAA Central Regional on Friday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio. The Cardinals shot a 307 in the second round for a two day score of 615. Second ranked UCLA remained in the lead with a score of 574. Purdue is second with a score of 585 and Oklahoma State are moved to third with a score of 588.

Senior Cindy LaCrosse finished the second round shooting a 77. LaCrosse is currently tied at 24th with a score of 151. UCLA's Stephanie Kono still leads the field after shooting a 70 in the second round. She has a two day total of 139.

Junior Daphne Parker finished the day carding a 75. Parker is currently tied at 44th with a score of 154. Sophomore Sara-Maude Juneau shot a 78 in the second round an is currently tied at 44th as well with a score of 154.

Freshman Maria Castellanos shot a 78 in the second rounds. She is currently tied at 98th with a score of 165. Sophomore Laura Anderson shot an 80 in the second round. She is currently tied at 81st with a score of 159.

NCAA Regional play will wrap up tomorrow morning with 18-holes. The top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.
