Women's Golf Finished Tied for Sixth at Web.com Intercollegiate

Jacksonville, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 295 in the final round to finish tied for sixth at the Web.com Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Fla. The Cardinals finished with a final score of 884, which put them in a tie with Minnesota and Missouri. Florida State won the tournament with a score of 851. East Carolina finished in second with a score of 875, while Ohio State finished in third with 877. UCF and Maryland rounded out the Top Five with scores of 882 and 883 respectively.

Junior Emily Haas led the Cardinals and shot a 69 in the final round to finish tied for sixth place. Haas finished with a final score of 215 and shot one under par for the tournament. Florida State's Matilda Castren won the tournament and finished 12 under par with a final score of 204.

Sophomore Laura Restrepo shot a 76 in the final round and finished tied for 31st with a final score of 222. Senior Tara Lyons shot a 75 on the day and finished one stroke behind Restrepo with an overall score of 223. Lyons tied for 35th place.

Junior Katie Petrino and freshman Shannon Gramley both finished tied for 62nd with a score of 230. Petrino shot an 81 in the final round of the tournament, while Gramley shot a 75.

Louisville will begin postseason play at the American Athletic Conference Tournament on April 20-22. The tournament will be held in Palm Coast, Fla. at the Hammock Beach Resort and Golf Club.
