Women's Golf Currently 15th After Day 1 of the Bryan National

Greensboro, NC - The University of Louisville women's golf team is currently 15th after shooting a 308 in the first round of the Bryan National Collegiate. Tennessee is in first place after shooting a 287 on the first day. Wake Forest is second with a score of 389 and Florida State and Vanderbilt are tied at third with a score of 291.

Junior Sara-Maude Juneau leads the Cardinals after shooting a 74 in the first round. Juneau is currently tied at 22nd. Wake Forest's Michelle Shin leads the field after shooting four under par (68).

Senior Daphne Parker shot a 76 in the first round. Parker is currently tied at 40th. Sophomore Maria Castellanos shot a 78 in the first round. Castellanos is currently tied at 58th.

Junior Laura Anderson and freshman Anna-Karin Ljungstrom are currently tied at 76. Both Anderson and Ljunstrom carded an 80 in the first round.

The Cardinals will continue play tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
