Women's Basketball Announces Roster Changes for the 2011-12 Season

Louisville, Ky. - Sophomore guard Rachel Story and freshman forward Polly Harrington have decided not return to the Louisville women's basketball team next season. Story and Harrington both saw limited playing time this season for the Cardinals. "I have enjoyed coaching both Rachel and Polly here at Louisville," said head coach Jeff Walz. "They are both talented young women that have a lot of great opportunities ahead of them. They will always be a part of our basketball family and we wish them nothing but success." Story saw action in 51 games during her two seasons with the Cardinals. She averaged 8.7 minutes per game in her two seasons along with 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds per game. She averaged 11.2 minutes per game as a freshman and 5.6 minutes as a sophomore. Harrington saw action in 16 games this season, averaging 5.1 minutes per game. She finished the year averaging 1.8 points and 0.7 rebounds per game.
