Louisville women's basketball (20-8, 9-6) will face Seton Hall (8-21, 1-14) on Monday, Feb. 27 in Walsh Gymnasium for season finale at 7:00 p.m. Monday's contest will air on the U of L Radio Network (790 AM) with Matt Andrews calling all the action.
The Cardinals are coming off a 75-62 win over No. 18 DePaul on Saturday afternoon at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals are led by the backcourt duo of senior Becky Burke and sophomore Shoni Schimmel. Schimmel leads the team in scoring and assists with 14.3 points and 4.6 assists per game. Burke is second in scoring with 11.6 points per game. Freshman guard Bria Smith rounds out the top scorers with 9.5 points per game. Redshirt freshman Shawnta' Dyer leads the team on the boards with 5.0 rebounds per game.
Seton Hall is coming off a 63-39 road win against Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon. Senior Jasmine Crew leads Seton Hall in scoring with 18.5 points per game. Crew leads the team with 159 made free throws, connecting on 84.1 percent from the foul line. Junior Brittany Morris ranks second on the team in scoring with 11.2 points per game. She leads the team from behind the arc, making 51 3-pointers while connecting on 32.2 percent from long range. Senior Tajay Ashmeade leads the team on the boards with 8.6 rebounds per game.
Louisville leads the series 6-0 against Seton Hall. The Cardinals are 3-0 on the road against the Pirates.
