8th Ranked Cardinals Host the Red Storm on Tuesday Night at 7:00 p.m.

Louisville, Ky. - The 8th ranked Louisville Cardinals will host St. John's in Freedom Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear their black as part of `Black out the Red Storm'.

The Cardinals enter the game ranked 8th in the AP Poll and 12th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll this week. Louisville enters the game with an overall record of 23-3 and 10-2 in league play. Senior Angel McCoughtry leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 22.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Senior Candyce Bingham is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

St. John's enters the game with an overall record of 15-9 and a league record of 3-8. St. John's has three players averaging double figures this season. Senior guard Monique McLean leads the team in scoring with 17.3 points per game. Freshman Da'Shena Stevens is second on the team in scoring with 11.3 points per game. Senior guard Kelly McManmon rounds out the top scorers with 10.4 points per game. Stevens also leads the Red Storm on the boards with 6.7 rebounds per game.

The game will be broadcast live on WKRD (790 AM or 101.7 FM) or at www.uoflsports.com. Jim Kelch will handle play-by-play duties while Adrienne Johnson will be the color analyst.
