Louisville, Ky. - The No. 12/12 Louisville women's basketball team will travel to South Florida on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sun Dome. Fans can also listen to the game on WKRD 790 AM or at www.GoCards.com with Matt Andrews and Adrienne Johnson calling the action.

The Cardinals enter the game with an overall record of 17-4 and a 5-2 record in league play. Louisville has won three straight games and five of its last six games. Overall, Shoni Schimmel leads the team in scoring with 12.6 points while dishing out 3.3 assists. Sara Hammond ranks second on the team in scoring with 10.9 points per game while leading the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game. Monique Reid rounds out the top scorers with 10.4 points per game.

No. 16 Louisville Tops South Florida, 63-57
Shoni Schimmel scored 16 points and No. 16 Louisville rallied to beat South Florida 63-57 on Wednesday night.

The Bulls are coming off a 58-48 victory over Marquette on Saturday to improve to 14-5 on the season and 3-3 in BIG EAST play. Inga Orekhova led the Bulls in scoring with 15 points. USF has won two straight games heading into Wednesday's game. Senior Andrea Smith leads three players averaging double figures with 17.7 points per game. Sister Andrell Smith ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.9 points per game. Junior Inga Orekhova rounds out the top scorers with 11.6 points per game. Freshman Alisia Jenkins leads the team on the boards with 6.1 rebounds per game.
