Hartford, Conn. - The No. 13/15 Louisville women's basketball team will face No. 2/3 Connecticut on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 9:00 p.m. The game will air live on CBS Sports Network with Brent Stover and Debbie Antonelli calling the action.

The Cardinals are coming off a 70-62 road win at Proidence on Saturday. The Cardinals are 14-3 overall and 2-1 in league play. Shoni Schimmel and Bria Smith led the Cardinals with 17 points against the Friars on Saturday. Overall, Schimmel leads the team in scoring with 12.7 points while dishing out 3.4 assists. Monique Reid ranks second on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game. Sara Hammond rounds out the top scorers with 11.0 points per game while leading the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game.

No. 20 Louisville's Comeback Not Enough Against No. 3 Connecticut, Falling 56-46
Shoni Schimmel led Louisville (17-7, 6-5) with 20 points and eight rebounds. Sara Hammond added 10 points, eight of which came in the second half but fell to No. 3 Connecticut 56-46 Tuesday night.

Connecticut enters the game with an overall record of 14-1 and a BIG EAST record of 2-1. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 24 points and Stefanie Dolson added 20 to help third-ranked UConn cruise to an 85-51 win over Marquette on Saturday. The Huskies are led by sophomore Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis with 16.9 points this season. Freshman Breanna Stewart is the second leading scorer with 14.6 points and a team best 7.3 rebounds per game. Stephanie Dolson and Kelly Faris round out the top scorers with 12.9 and 10.4 points respectively.
