Coached freshman Calvin Arsenault to break the 110m hurdles record that previously stood for 13 years; Arsenault won the 110m hurdles title at the 2012 Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships
Winston's tutelage led Arsenault to compete in the IAAF World Junior Championships in 2012
Helped guide the sprints group to play a role in the team's past four BIG EAST titles
Guided Saravia Richardson to become the first female sprinter in school history to earn an NCAA Championships bid
The men's and women's sprints group has broken nine school records under Winston's watch
The sprinters have garnered 13 all-conference accolades and nine regional bids in just the last three seasons
ARIZONA STATE
Re-established Arizona State's relays group as one of the best in the country, as they garnered 11 All-America honors, 10 conference titles and two NCAA Outdoor West Region titles
Coached two Olympians - Seth Amoo (Ghana, 2008) and Joel Phillip (Grenada, 2008) - and one World Championship athlete - Selim Nurudeen (Nigeria, 2009) - while at Arizona State
His sprinters/hurdlers were instrumental in the Sun Devils the 2008 NCAA Indoor championship and the NCAA West Region championship that year
The Sun Devils earned consecutive Pac-10 Outdoor Championship runner-up finishes (2007-08), a top-five finish at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Championships and back-to-back top-10 finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (No. 6 in 2008; No. 8 in 2009)
Coached two Pac-10 Outdoor Championship High Point award winners, signifying the best athlete at the conference championships
Directed his 4x100m relay team to a NCAA dual meet record of 38.71
His 4x400m relay team that finished runner-up at the 2005 NCAA Outdoor Championships set the school record and nearly broke three minutes (3:00.57)
