Men's Tennis Arren Carter Advances to Doubles Finals of USTA Boys' 18 National Open

University of Louisville men's tennis signee Arren Carter advanced to the doubles finals of the United State Tennis Association Boys' 18 National Open in Toledo, Ohio. "I am pleased that Arren and his doubles partner made it to the finals of the National Open in Toledo," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "I am not surprised by this result because I think he has an above average tennis IQ especially in doubles. He is extremely smart and uses it on the tennis court as well. Arren knows the importance of a doubles point in a college dual match. He is playing a lot of tournaments which will prepare him for the rigors of major college tennis." Carter and his partner picked up four wins en route to the finals before falling 8-5 in the finals. In singles action, he advanced to the round of 16.
