Men's Tennis Set to Host Fall Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The University of Louisville men's tennis team is set to host the 2010 Louisville Fall Invitational Sept. 17-19. Matches will be outdoors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

This year's tournament will feature two divisions in both singles and doubles with main draw and consolation play. The field includes 10 teams from around the region: Austin Peay, Chicago, Illinois State, Lander, Lipscomb, Louisville, Murray State, Western Kentucky, Wright State and Youngstown State.

"We are excited to host the Louisville Fall Invitational," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "It is always a great weekend to start the season. The fans will get to see new faces. I appreciate the teams coming to town. It will be a great weekend of college tennis."

First round doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17. A full draw will be posted on the website Thursday evening.
