Andrew Carter Advances to PNC Men's Futures of Pittsburgh Main Draw

University of Louisville men's tennis alum Andrew Carter qualified for the PNC Men's Futures of Pittsburgh Main Draw.

"I am happy for Andrew for getting through the qualifying rounds of a good futures tournament," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "He defeated one of the better new players in the Big Ten and a former No. 1 player from Notre Dame."

The 2012 graduate picked up three wins in the qualifying draw, defeating Elliot Kaysar 6-4, 6-1, Casey Watt 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 and Alex Petrone 6-4, 6-4. He lost 6-2, 6-3 to Chase Buchanan in the first round of the main draw.
