The selections for the 2013 ITA Kick-Off Weekend have been made and University of Louisville men's tennis team will face NC State in Oxford, Miss. First round matches will be played Friday, Jan. 25, and second round matches will be played Saturday, Jan. 26. All matches will be held at the Gillom Sports Center.

The ITA Kick-Off Weekend features 15 host sites with four teams at each site vying to advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The 15 schools that win both of their matches at these events will be invited to play in the ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championship, to be held Feb. 15-18 at the University of Washington in Seattle.

"We are happy to be playing in our fifth straight National Kick-Off to qualify for the National Indoor Team Championship Sweet 16," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "What is neat about this event is that you choose what Regional that you play in instead of a committee."

"We will play in the Ole Miss Regional as the No. two seed. This is the fourth straight year we have been a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in a Kick-Off Regional. We are excited to play NC State. Coach Choboy always fields good teams and it will be a big test for us. The ACC is one of the power conferences of our sport. We were fortunate enough to be 4-0 against the ACC last season and hope this continues. The fourth team in our region is Ivy League heavyweight, Columbia. We played them in 2011 when we hosted the regional in Louisville."

The No. 34 Cardinals finished the season at 18-10 after making their fourth straight and ninth overall NCAA appearance under the guidance of 2012 BIG EAST Conference Coach of the Year Rex Ecarma.
