The University of Louisville men's tennis team will travel to Lexington, Ky., to face Indiana (23-9) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on May 11 at noon. Host, sixth-ranked Kentucky (26-5) will play No. 75 Radford (20-5) in the other first round match at 3 p.m. The winners will meet Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m.
The 37th ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team is making its fourth straight and ninth overall NCAA tournament appearance. The Cardinals (18-9) captured their third consecutive BIG EAST Conference title with a 4-2 win over South Florida to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
The Cardinals are making their fourth straight and ninth overall NCAA appearance under the guidance of 2012 BIG EAST Conference Coach of the Year Rex Ecarma. They reached the round of 16 in 2010 for the program's best finish.
This will be the second year in a row Louisville has traveled to Lexington for the first and second rounds. In 2011, the No. 24 Cards defeated Cornell 4-0 in the first round and fell 4-3 to the tenth-ranked Wildcats.

Last Meeting: March 28, 2012 in Bloomington, Ind. -The No. 45 Cards upset No. 23 Indiana 4-3. Louisville lost the doubles point and rallied from a 2-3 deficit with wins by freshman Sebastian Stiefelmeyer at No. 2. Freshman Luis Elizondo's three set win at No. 6 clinched the victory.
